About Patricia Andrea
With twenty years of experience in immigration, I bring a deep understanding of the systems, a compassionate approach to client service, and a commitment to helping people pursue lawful pathways to build new lives in communities where they can call home. I have spent two decades dedicated to immigration law, guided by a steadfast belief in giving a voice to the voiceless.
My career began at the Supreme Court of Zurich, where I assister prosecutors in a variety of civil and criminal matters, initially in roles such as translation and case assistance. This early experience taught me the foundations of legal argument, procedure, and the importance of clarity in the justice system.
Subsequently, I expanded my international perspective with a brief assignment at the United Nations for Development Aid, and then moved to the Federal Department of Immigration in Switzerland. There I discovered my true calling: advocating for the rights and dignity of immigrants and ensuring fair access to legal remedies.
Relocating to the United States presented new challenges, yet my passion and determination remained unwavering. I spent time as a teacher with Dallas Independent School District before joining the Department of Homeland Security as an Immigration Officer. One of the most rewarding aspects of that role was helping individuals secure the relief they deserved and guiding families toward safer, brighter futures.
I attended Texas A&M School of Law. Proud Aggie. I also have a Bachelor in Political Science and Masters in Law and International Finances and Banking. I fluently speak German, French and Swiss-German; I have knowledge of Spanish and Haitian Creole.
